Hi there, I’m Nika.

And I have a lot to tell you.

Firstly, all of my fellow bloggers deserve an apology.I’m sorry for not engaging with your blog content this past month or two.I’m sorry for not being as active on WordPress as I should have been.

Now, for all of you amaaaazing readers, sorry.I owe you guys an explaination.

Burnout.

You know when you kinda just lose track? When you kinda forget why you’re doing what you’re doing? When the things that interest you start to seem tiring?

It’s a very annoying situation. For a whole month I forced myself to write, even though I knew that I was starting to get burned out and needed to slow down.My blog posts weren’t as genuinely written as I’d have liked them to be.

If you’re a blogger, you’ll totally know how annoying that is.When you have a shit ton of posts and other things planned, but you burn out in the middle. And you’re just there like-wha?

Okay, now, let’s keep the emo aside.

In 2019, I promise to write only if I really want to convey a message, if I really want to write.I feel like, only then will I truly be happy with my content and avoid burnouts.

Stay tuned, you guys.I’ve got some cool things planned. This blog is here to stay, forever.

Tchao ❤

  1. Nika I totally get you! December was a motivating month for me but January is starting to feel a bit sloppy for writing. I hope I have a day where the creativity sparks and I write all my ideas down. Don’t force yourself to write and you’ll come out with great content. Can’t wait for future posts from you!

  2. This is totally relatable! All I’ve realized at this point is that it’s much better to take a break rather than write half-heartedly (: It makes your blog a lot more genuine than consistent yet forced write-ups.

  3. It’s always good to take a break when you’re feeling like that. In the three years that I’ve been blogging, 80% of the bloggers that started with me gave up on their blogs rather quickly. Take more time if you need it, the blogging world will be here waiting for your return. 😉
